Email notifications when a file has been processed/rejected or a requested extract is ready
It would be nice to be notified of the outcome of files I've submitted/requested rather than to keep checking back.
It would also be nice to let users set their own notification preferences (e.g. continue receiving no notifications, be notified about files I've submitted only, be notified about all files - where there are multiple data submitters)
From another user:
The processing of a file takes some time to complete and an email to the sender if the submission failed would be useful. This would speed up the rectification of a failed transmission.

Peter WatkinsThe time required for the various upload and processing stages is not insignificant. An e-mail to confirm outcome would be great.
